The Founder's Story

Inspiring Change Through Personal Experience

Alphonce Odhiambo, Founder of GONLINE AFRICA

GONLINE AFRICA was founded by Alphonce Odhiambo, a dedicated network and infrastructure engineer with a deep passion for using technology as a tool for social revolution.

Growing up witnessing the stark digital divide in rural Kenya – particularly in areas like Nyatike where affordable internet and digital skills were luxuries – Alphonce saw firsthand how lack of connectivity limited opportunities for education, economic growth, and empowerment.

Driven by the belief that knowledge and access can transform lives, Alphonce established GONLINE AFRICA as a social enterprise focused on bringing low-cost internet infrastructure, digital literacy training, and inclusive platforms to underserved communities.

From deploying community networks in remote villages to training youth and women in ICT skills, Alphonce's vision has grown into impactful programs like LIFE Legacy, Nyatike Community Network, IKNOWHER Initiative, and NoSHUT advocacy – all rooted in creating equal digital opportunities for every African.

"I believe in the power of knowledge as a tool for revolution. No community should be left behind in the digital age."
